General Description

The project is divided in two components. The first consists of the development of four collection centers called Post Harvest Centers, which were strategically located considering the main productive regions of the country, as follows:

• Dolega (Chiriquí)
• Volcan (Chiriquí)
• Cerro Punta (Chiriquí)
• El Ejido (Los Santos)

The second component of the project creates a national network of markets and supply units. This will improve the preservation of the products, as well as their distribution and commercialization.The network of markets includes:

• David’s Public Market
• Merca Panama
• Chorrera’s Public Market
• Chitre’s Public Market
