Railroad
The Panama Canal Railway Company is a joint venture between Kansas City Southern and Mi-Jack Products that provides railroad transportation for passengers and containerized cargo between Panama City and Colon City under a 50-year concession. The primary role of the railroad is to serve as a transshipment link for container shipments between Atlantic and Pacific seaports. However, the passenger service allows travelers to enjoy a journey through the lush jungles of Panama flanking the scenic Panama Canal.
