This graph shows the amount of vehicles that entered the MAC, coming from origins like Chiriqui, Los Santos and Cocle, which are the main origins of the products included in the cold chain system.

The pickup is the vehicle used more frequently to move products from Herrera, Los Santos and Cocle, due to the fact that the production volume of those provinces is small and requires more trips. On the other hand, the truck and heavy truck are the ones used more frequently to move product from Chiriqui, due to the significant distance from origin to destination and the province registers the highest production volume for the products included in the cold chain system.

The reported waste represents around 27% of local production and the products with highest waste are: potato, onion, lettuce, industrial tomato and bell pepper.
